Stephanie Italia Ricci born October 29th, 1986 is an actress from Canada and America. She's famous for playing April Carver in the 2014-2015 ABC Family television series Chasing Life, and for her role as the White House Chief of Staff and Special Advisor Emily Rhodes in the television drama series Designated Survivor from 2016 to 2019.During 2009, Ricci began appearing in American productions in small parts in How I Met Your Mother, House, and Greek. In the same year, she was featured in the Comedy Central series Secret Girlfriend as Sasha. In 2010, she starred in Unnatural History on Cartoon Network as Maggie Winnock. She also appeared as herself in a Clean & Clear ad. She was in Valediction which was a short film she created in 2011. Ricci had a minor role as Don Jon, Joseph Gordon-Levitt's film debut as a director.
